This May will be PSSC's 25th anniversary. . . hard to believe it has been 25 years since we became a club!!
We are planning some extra special trophies and rosettes to commemorate this milestone. Everything will emphasize the silver anniversary. Some of the trophies are unique. . . and all class placements and award winners will receive a special memento. The rosettes will be bigger and extra special.
Plan to come and celebrate with us - even if you don't have a dog to show. New exhibitors are welcome! Invite anyone you know who may no longer be a member of the club. It will be fun to reminisce with everyone.
The Specialty is Sunday 5/24; Jack Onofrio Dog Shows is the superintendent; closing date is Wednesday, May 6, which is also the deadline for hotel block room reservations. We will have a grooming area for SS. Please contact Kathy Koehler (see contact info below) with the number of tables and crates you will have.
The judges for the weekend are:
Friday – PSSC supported entry – Mrs. Stephanie Hamblin-Barnhill
Saturday – HSSC supported entry – Mr. Robin Stansell
Sunday – PSSC Specialty – Sweepstakes – Elise Singer Breed - Mrs. Cindy Stansell
Monday - PSSC supported entry – Dr. Albert Bianchi
The informal dinner is Sunday evening at the VFW. . . a great opportunity to visit with everyone. It is just a short drive from the show site. Transportation can be provided for those staying in RV’s who need a ride. Again, everyone is welcome! Dinner reservations are due on the show closing date Wednesday, May 6. We look forward to seeing some special items for the Sunday night raffle and auction - it is always a highlight of the evening! There is always a little fun lively competition for certain items!! Please let us know if you have something special you are bringing.
Please send copies of any photos you may have of club activities through the years or a picture of a trophy or special raffle/auction item you may have won. We want to share memories of the specialties over the years. You can email those pictures to DuffPnB@aol.com

SPECIAL SEMINAR AT THE SPECIALTY
This year we will be presenting a special seminar during the weekend, probably on Saturday depending on judging schedule. Penny Duffee, assisted by Linda Dobbie, will discuss the breed standard and how to apply the standard when evaluating your own dog(s). The presentation will also include discussion of movement.
There is no charge for the seminar. Pre-registration is not required, but it would be helpful to know how many people may be attending to be sure we have chairs, supplies,etc. for everyone. Please contact Penny at < DuffPnB@aol.com > if you plan to attend.
