The Prairieland Stanard Schnauzer Club is an AKC lisenced group of Standard Schnauzer lovers located in central Illinois. Our club's territory stretches across the state of Illinois between I-88 to the north and I-72 to the south. Voting members must reside in the Prairieland's territory. Associate members may come from anywhere and are found across the country. New members are always welcome!

Generally, the club meets on the third Wednesday in alternate months at 7 pm, with a few exceptions. Our newsletter comes out bimonthly. In order to ensure that your item makes it into the newsletter, please get it to the editor by the first of each month that the newsletter is published (February, April, June, August, October, & December).
The PSSC hosts a regional specialty in May in conjunction with the Heart of Illinois Cluster at the Interstate Center in Bloomington, Illinois. In 2010, we are proud to play host to the SSCA National Specialty. All members of the Prairieland Standard Schnauzer Club are obliged to follow our Code of Ethics.
